Privacy Policy

Who we are
This site, toflin.co.uk, is run by Toflin (“we”, “us”), based in Lanarkshire, Scotland. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email hello@toflin.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
When you fill in one of our forms (the 4-question form on this site, or the Book a Chat form), we collect: your name, phone number, town (optional), your trade, how you currently market your business, and how many reviews you have online. We use this only to get back to you about the enquiry you made, and to understand roughly what you need before we call. We only use this data once you have ticked the consent box on the form to confirm you are happy to be contacted.
We do not collect payment details, and we do not run any user accounts, checkout, or e-commerce on this site.
How your enquiry is handled
Form submissions are sent straight to our email inbox. We do not store enquiries in a separate database or CRM on this site. We keep the resulting email for as long as we reasonably need it to respond to you and, if we start working together, for our normal business records, then delete it.
We never sell your details, and we do not pass them to third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies, described in full in our Cookies Policy. Anything beyond the strictly necessary cookies only runs once you accept it via the cookie banner.
Who we share data with
Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Hosting providers process data on our behalf to keep the site running but do not use it for their own purposes. If you accept optional cookies, some information is also shared with Hostinger Reach, the tool we use for email marketing. See the Cookies Policy for details. We do not share your enquiry details with any other third party.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to: show you what we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, or send you a copy in a portable format. To use any of these, email hello@toflin.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top.
