Websites and marketing for Motherwell trades.
Toflin builds websites, runs Facebook and Instagram and gets Google reviews coming in for trades in Motherwell, Ravenscraig, Carfin, New Stevenston, Newarthill and Jerviston.
From steel to new builds
Motherwell was steel. Ravenscraig shut in 1992, and the site has been filling up ever since with new houses, the sports facility and the college. Fir Park, Dalzell Estate and Strathclyde Park are all on the doorstep.
All those new houses at Ravenscraig are a good example of where trade work comes from now. New owners want the garden done, a driveway laid, blinds up, the garage converted. They’re new to the area and they search for everything.
Be the first name they find
When someone in Ravenscraig or Carfin searches for a trade, Google shows them the map first. The three businesses in that map box get most of the calls. Getting in there is about your Google profile, your reviews and how clearly your website says Motherwell.
Motherwell’s also next door to Wishaw, Bellshill and Hamilton, so a lot of firms compete for the same jobs. Being specific about the areas you cover gives you an edge.

Questions from Motherwell businesses
What’s the map box on Google?
It’s the map with three businesses that shows at the top for local searches. Your Google Business Profile decides whether you’re in it.
Do I need a website if I’m on the map?
It helps a lot. Plenty of people click through to your website before they phone, and Google uses it to understand what you do and where.
Can you guarantee me the top of Google?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. What I can do is sort the things Google looks at for local searches: your profile, your reviews and your website.
Do you charge per lead or take a cut of my jobs?
No. No lead fees and no commission. You pay a set price, and every price is published on the pricing page.
Let’s get you found.
Every price is published. Pick one, or call and ask me which one makes sense for you.
