Small village, busy road
Law sits right between Carluke and Wishaw, which is handy for getting to jobs and a headache for marketing. Customers in Law search for ‘Wishaw’ just as often as they search for ‘Law’. If your website and Google profile only mention one, you’re missing half of them.
A lot of the village is newer housing, much of it on the old Law Hospital site, which closed in 2001. Newer houses bring newer owners: folk wanting extensions, gardens landscaped, kitchens swapped out. And they don’t know anybody in the area yet.

‘Plumber Law’ doesn’t get searched much. ‘Plumber Wishaw’, ‘plumber Carluke’ and ‘plumber near me’ do. Google decides who shows up partly on where you’re based and partly on what you tell it. Your profile’s service area and your website need to spell out Law, Carluke, Wishaw, Overtown and Waterloo.
That’s the kind of thing nobody tells you when you set up a Google profile. It takes ten minutes to fix and it’s free.

You can. Your Google profile needs Wishaw in its service area, your website needs to talk about the work you do there, and you need reviews from Wishaw customers. Google needs telling.
